Driver Terms

These terms are between you and Tip After LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("TipAfter," "we"). They apply if you deliver TipAfter orders. Our Terms of Service also apply.

1. Independent contractor

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of Tip After LLC. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship. Consistent with that:

• You decide whether, when, and how often to make yourself available. There are no required shifts, schedules, or minimum hours.
• You may accept or decline any delivery offer without penalty.
• You choose your own route and how to perform the delivery, consistent with the law and the customer's order.
• You provide and pay for your own vehicle, phone, fuel, and other equipment. No uniform is required.
• You are free to work for other companies, including other delivery platforms, at any time.
• TipAfter does not train, supervise, or evaluate how you drive. We only set basic rules needed to complete orders safely and lawfully (for example, confirming each delivery in the app only at the real handoff).

2. What you do

You pick up prepared orders from restaurants and deliver them to customers. You confirm each delivery in the app only at the real handoff, never before the customer has the food. You handle food with reasonable care and do not open sealed packaging.

3. Eligibility, license, and insurance

• You must be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license, and keep your vehicle registered and in safe working order.
• You must carry automobile liability insurance at least at the minimum required by Virginia law, and make sure your policy covers using your vehicle for delivery (some personal policies exclude it; a delivery or commercial endorsement may be needed). You must show proof of insurance on request.
• You are responsible for any permits or licenses your delivery work requires.

4. Payments and tips

• You receive payments through your own Stripe Connect Express account, which you open and verify directly with Stripe.
• 100% of each delivery tip goes to you. TipAfter takes 0% of tips and pays the card fee on tips. Tips are charged only after delivery is confirmed at the handoff, and only if the customer chooses to tip.
• Any delivery pay in addition to tips will be stated to you in writing before you accept deliveries with real payments.
• Stripe pays out your balance to your bank on Stripe's payout schedule.
• You are responsible for your own taxes. Tax forms, if required, are provided through Stripe.

5. Conduct

Follow traffic and food-safety laws. Do not harass customers or restaurant staff, misuse customer information, or confirm a delivery without a real handoff. Customer information you see is only for completing the delivery.

6. Indemnity and liability

You are responsible for your vehicle, your driving, and your conduct while delivering. You agree to indemnify Tip After LLC against claims arising from your negligence or willful misconduct, or your breach of these terms, to the extent allowed by law. The disclaimers and limitation of liability in our Terms of Service apply.

7. Ending

You may stop delivering at any time. We may end your access if these terms are broken, if your Stripe account is closed, or when the pilot ends. Amounts already owed to you for completed deliveries, including tips, will still be paid out through Stripe.
